Computer Tech Explore -  Photography Fundamentals, Editing and Graphic Communication -  Today was a catch up day to finish any missing projects.

Pre-Algebra -  Tables of Linear Functions - Linear Functions test today.   NO HW

8th Grade Science - Motion -  Class was interrupted today due to the Senior BBQ.  NO HW

7th Grade Science -  Human Body Systems - Students were given a study guide for the upcoming Human Body System Test.  HW - begin to study for the Human Body System test on Friday.

8th Grade Science - Motion -  Students completed the online Motion activity from Monday.  NO HW

7th Grade Science -  Human Body Systems - Students took notes on the Urinary System and the Reproductive System.   NO HW

Computer Tech Explore -  Photography Fundamentals, Editing and Graphic Communication -  Using an online resource create a Calendar which includes a picture you took.

Pre-Algebra -  Tables of Linear Functions - Friday's assignment was corrected and collected.  Students then took a practice test on Graphs and Tables of Linear Functions.  The actual test will be on Wednesday.   HW - Study for Linear Functions Test

8th Grade Science - Motion -  Students participated in an online activity to experiment with Position, Velocity and Acceleration.  NO HW

7th Grade Science -  Human Body Systems - Students took notes on the Respiratory System and then conducted an experiment of their lung capacity.   NO HW

Computer Tech Explore -  Photography Fundamentals, Editing and Graphic Communication -  Using an online resource create a Inspirational Poster.

Pre-Algebra -  Tables of Linear Functions - Yesterday's assignment was corrected and reviewed.  The daily assignment was given and students had time to work in class.    HW - finish problem 13-21 if not completed in class.

8th Grade Science - Motion -  Students were given the daily assignment, Motion Graphs.  Students were given various graphs (Distance Time Graphs and Speed Time Graphs) and had to answer questions related to the graphs.  NO HW

7th Grade Science -  Human Body Systems - Today was the 6th grade transition day.  Nothing new was introduced, the period was used to talk about science, WJSHS and other concerns or questions the 6th graders had with moving up to WJSHS next year.   NO HW

Computer Tech Explore -  Photography Fundamentals, Editing and Graphic Communication -  Using an online resource create a Inspirational Poster.

Pre-Algebra -  Tables of Linear Functions - Yesterday's assignment 2-4 was corrected and discussed for review.  We discussed the math for finding the slope and initial value given a table as well as using the function to complete the table as a short cut.  Problem #5 from the packet was solved as an example of finding the function (slope, initial value) given a graph.  Problems #7 & 8 where also modeled for finding the function when given a table.  The daily assignment is problems 6, 9-12.    HW - finish problem 6 & 9-12 if not completed in class.

8th Grade Science - Motion -  Students took notes on motion and completed a following along note sheet.  NO HW

7th Grade Science -  Human Body Systems - Students participated in an activity to determine how the heart works by checking the heart rate after various activities.   NO HW

Computer Tech Explore -  Photography Fundamentals, Editing and Graphic Communication -  Using an online resource create a Magazine Cover.

Pre-Algebra -  Tables of Linear Functions - Yesterday's assignment 20-34 was corrected and collected.  We started a new section today Tables of Linear Functions.  A new packet with examples and problems was handed out, examples were modeled and discussed along with one of the homework problems.  Students were told they need to show all there work and given time in class to complete problems 2-4.    HW - finish problem 2-4 if not completed in class.

8th Grade Science - Motion -  Students were given a reading assignment pages C9-C31 and a reading guide with questions to answer as they read.  NO HW

7th Grade Science -  Human Body Systems - Students took notes on the Cardiovascular and Lymphatic Systems.   NO HW

Computer Tech Explore -  Photography Fundamentals, Editing and Graphic Communication -  Using an online resource create a Movie Poster..

Pre-Algebra -  Graphing Linear Functions - Yesterday's assignment 7-19 was corrected and discussed.  The daily assignment, problems 20-34 was given and students were guided that solving by using fractions would result in whole numbers and would be easier than converting fractions to decimals and solving with a decimal.

8th Grade Science - Motion -  The worksheet from the Frame of Reference video was returned and discussed.  Students were given the daily assignment, What is Motion and given time to work on it in class before correcting at the end of the period.  NO HW

7th Grade Science -  Human Body Systems - Last day for students to work on The Digestive Story Project in class.  Students not finished today will need to complete the project as a homework assignment.   NO HW
