Computer Tech Explore - HTML - Students continued learning about HTML and developing their own webpages using Davesite.8th Grade Math - Students took the 1st Semester Pre-Test today. The test is not graded but will be used to show growth at the conclusion of Semester 1.
8th Grade Science - Students were shown the results from their Semester 1 Pre-Test and we discussed how many of them have a great opportunity to show tremendous improvement this semester. Students were then given a measurement lab activity. Following the activity we discussed the importance of precise measurement, selecting the appropriate unit, knowing how to use measuring devices and metric conversion.
7th Grade Science - Students were shown the results from their Semester 1 Pre-Test and we discussed how many of them have a great opportunity to show tremendous improvement this semester. Students then looked up the meaning of "Observation" and "Inference" and then completed an assignment in which they had to identify whether a statement was an observation or inference.
