Computer Tech Explore - HTML - Students continued learning about HTML and developing their own webpages using Davesite.8th Grade Math - The homework from yesterday was corrected and collected. Today we discussed finding the volume of a cone. The formula was presented and similarities and differences between the volume of a cylinder were discussed. The daily assignment was given and the first problem was solved together as an example for the class. HW complete problems 2-3 and be prepared to discuss tomorrow.
8th Grade Science - A brief review of reading measurements of a graduated cylinder and ruler was held. Then the daily assignment was given and students had to read measurements of a graduated cylinder, metric ruler and convert one metric unit to another.
7th Grade Science - Students took notes on conversions within the metric system, the basic metric measurement of length, volume, and mass as well as what units are used to measure common items.
