Computer Tech Explore - HTML - Students continued learning about HTML and developing their own webpages using Davesite.8th Grade Math - The Volume of a Cylinder activity from yesterday was reviewed and modeled in class. Students could identify how the changes in variables (height, radius) could result in different answers. Students were given a new Volume of Cylinder WS with little time remaining in class and were asked to solve problem #1 as homework.
8th Grade Science - The lab safety quiz from yesterday was handed back. Students were given a worksheet with a variety of scenarios described and they had to identify which lab rule was broken. Students were also given a lab safety contract which is to be taken home, signed by both parent and students and returned to school before they will be allowed to participate in lab activities.
7th Grade Science - Class began with students taken an open note quiz on lab safety rules. Students were given a worksheet with a variety of scenarios described and they had to identify which lab rule was broken.
