Computer Tech Explore - Coding - For the next couple weeks students will be learning to code and create pictures and animations through Khanacademy Intro to JS.
Pre-Algebra - Pythagorean Theorem. Students took notes on Pythagorean Theorem, solved sample problems together in class, discussed ways in which the Pythagorean Theorem is used by construction workers, carpenters, engineers, architects and other professions and started a classroom activity. NO HW
8th Grade Science - Atoms and Periodic Table. Students took notes on Atoms and how they can determine an element by its atomic structure including the number of protons, neutrons and electrons. Students also were given a pre-lab activity to work on in preparation of tomorrows Build An Atom lab. . NO HW
7th Grade Science - Cell Processes, Chemical Compounds and Cell Environment. Class began by reviewing yesterday's reading guide. Each questions was discussed in class and students were given the correct answers. The daily assignment was given and students were instructed to use their reading guide from the Photosynthesis section as well as the Respiration section (that was reviewed today) to assist in answering questions on today's assignment. NO HW
