Computer Tech Explore - Introduction to Coding - Today students watched to introductory to coding videos. Over the next 2-3 weeks students will be working on self-pacing activities and learn how to code through Khanacademy. Students will participate in activities in which they create images, animations and modify variables of existing images/animations.
Pre-Algebra - Transformations (Reflections) - Friday's assignment was collected. Students were given a Challenge WS in which they had to reflect a pre-image twice over different lines of reflection other than the x or y axis. HW - Reflections Challenge WS if not finished in class.8th Grade Science - Bonds and Compounds - As a whole class students worked on an assignment in which they were first introduced and given examples of elements, compounds and mixtures. Then students had to identify and use appropriate vocabulary to describe a situation that was given to them. NO HW
7th Grade Science - Genetics - Students had all class period to study independently for the Genetics test, complete missing or late assignments and ask questions. The final Genetics test will be Thursday February 18th. HW - study for the test.
