Computer Tech Explore -  Introduction to Coding - Students continued working on self-pacing activities and learn how to code through Khanacademy.  Students will participate in activities in which they create images, animations and modify variables of existing images/animations.

Pre-Algebra - Transformations (Rotations) -   Today we started a new type of Transformation - Rotations.  Students were given a new packet with information and terms related to rotations; counter clockwise, clockwise, and degree measurements of rotations.  The packet was reviewed together and problems 1-4 were modeled and solved as examples.  Students were given time in class and asked to solve 5 & 6 before class tomorrow.   HW - finish problems 5 & 6

8th Grade Science - Bonds and Compounds -  Students completed the web-based activity from yesterday that reviewed covalent bonds.  The interactive portion of the lab modeled for students how electrons are shared in the outer orbit.  Students answered questions that went along with the interactive lab.  NO HW 

7th Grade Science -  Evolution-  Today we started a new chapter about Evoloution.  Students were asked to read pages 172-197 from the class text and answer questions that went along with the reading.  The reading covered and provided history relative to Charles Darwin and his observations.  Students learned about terms such as evolution, adaptation, variation, natural selection, fossils, and types of dating of fossils.   NO HW
