Computer Tech Explore -  Introduction to Coding - Students continued working on self-pacing activities and learn how to code through Khanacademy.  Students will participate in activities in which they create images, animations and modify variables of existing images/animations.

Pre-Algebra - Transformations (Rotations) -   Problems 10-12 assigned as classwork/homework yesterday were collected graded and returned so students could see if they are doing the rotations correctly.  Students were given the daily assignment Rotations WS #1 (1-12) and time in class to complete the assignment.  Students were given instructions and told that a 270 degree counter clockwise rotation is the same as a 90 degree clockwise rotation.  The assignment will have students doing rotations in both directions.   HW - finish Rotations WS #1 if not completed in class

8th Grade Science - Bonds and Compounds -  The Covalent and Ionic Bond Gizmo labs from Monday and Tuesday were corrected and discussed in class.  NO HW

7th Grade Science  Evolution-  Students took notes on Evolution to provide background knowledge and information relative to the upcoming Build-A-Beast Project.  Period 6 got the Build-A-Beast Project outline and rolled dice to determine their "beasts" environment.  Over the next 2 class periods students will have class time to work on their "beast", creating adaptations that will enable their "beast" to survive.  Students have the option of drawing a picture or writing an essay.  Students drawing a picture are encouraged to include a bullet pointed list or detail of each adaptation.  Student projects should be of presentation quality.  Essays should be at least 3 paragraphs in length with 5 sentences per paragraph but students are encouraged to write as much as possible to describe and define each adaptation.  P7 did not get the project today as they are a day behind taking notes and finishing required reading.  NO H
