Computer Tech Explore - HTML and Web Design - Students were introduced to HTML, watched a video on HTML and given an overview of the Computer Technology Explore class and what projects they will be completing during the 4th quarter.
Pre-Algebra - Functions - Students received a new packet for Intro to Functions. The packet included key vocabulary (function, input, output, domain, range, dependent and independent variable) as well as examples and homework problems. Vocabulary was reviewed, sample problems were solved and HW problems 1-4 were solved together, students were given time to answer questions 5 & 6 before solving in class. HW - problems 7-14 in the Intro to Function Packet
8th Grade Science - Matter & Solutions - Students were given a reading guide to answer as they started reading section 1 of Chapter 4. In this section students were introduced to terms like Solute, Solvent, Solution, Mixture, and Suspension. Students also learned how adding a solute can change the physical properties like boiling point. NO HW
7th Grade Science - Evolution - Students took notes and completed questions in a follow along worksheet to learn about the evolution of whales. NO HW
