Computer Tech Explore - Introduction to Coding - Students continued working on self-pacing activities and learn how to code through Khanacademy. Students will participate in activities in which they create images, animations and modify variables of existing images/animations. This is the final week of coding.
Pre-Algebra - Transformations (Translations) - Yesterdays assignment was collected. Students were given a new packet which provides definitions, examples and practice problems for the last type of Transformation we will be studying, Translations. Terminology and explanations were discussed in class along with modeling solutions to the first 3 practice problems in the packet. Students then had time to practice Translations 4-6 on their own before being checked. Once students demonstrated understanding on problems 4-6 they were given the okay to continue finishing the remaining problems. NO HW
8th Grade Science - Bonds and Compounds - Time was given in class for students to complete the lab from yesterday . NO HW
7th Grade Science - Evolution - Today was the last class period for students to present their Build-A-Beast Projects. NO HW
