Computer Tech Explore - HTML and Web Design - Using Davesite.com and a text editor (Notepad) students starting learning at their own pace to create their own website.
Pre-Algebra - Graphing Functions - We did a whole class review for the upcoming ISAT, next Tuesday. NO HW
8th Grade Science - Solutions - Students completed the dissolve lab in class. Today was completing the acitivity to compare solutions that salt dissolves in and why by comparing the polarity of the two solutions. NO HW
7th Grade Science - Human Body Systems - Tests were handed back and reviewed together. We started a new unit on Human Body Systems. Students were given a handout with a list of prefixes and suffixes related to many medical terms and their meanings. This handout will be used to complete Word Dissections in which students will be given a definition or meaning and have to piece together the prefix and suffix to create the word that matches the given definition. Students had time to start today and will have additional time in class on Monday to continue the assignment. NO HW
