Computer Tech Explore - Digital Photography- Today students used digital cameras to continue taking pictures applying the rules of thirds, changing the angle or perspective, taking into consideration lighting.  They then viewed their pictures on the computer and considered the basic elements of photography when examining their photos.  Students are taking pictures this week and will use free online resources next week to edit their pictures.

Pre-Algebra - Converting Repeating Fractions to Decimals.  Class began by completing yesterday's notes.  Sample problems from the daily assignment were solved for the whole group.  One problem was solved completely, a second problem was solved 3/4 of the way leaving the last step for students to solve and a third problem was solved 1/2 the way leaving the last two steps for students to solve.  Students then had the remainder of class to ask questions and finish the assignment.  HW - Convert Repeating Decimals to Fractions 13-24

8th Grade Science - Matter.  Today students completed an activity (Molecules in Motion) that allowed them to explore the movement of water molecules in different temperature water and record their results.  NO HW

7th Grade Science  Life Science.  Students completed taking notes from yesterday on Classifying Living Organisms.  Students then started an activity in which they had to Identify Pine Trees using a Dichotomous Key.
