Computer Tech Explore - Digital Photography Editing - Students had a free day due to no Internet access.Pre-Algebra - Evaluating Roots. A discussion was led as to how students could locate which two whole numbers the square root of an irrational number would be between. Several examples were worked out on the board and then the daily assignment was given. Students are to continue working in the Evaluation of Roots handout answering questions 33-50. HW - finish problems 33-50 if not finished in class.
8th Grade Science - Matter. Students were given an assignment to read pgs 27-33 from their science text, take notes, and answer questions at the end of the section. The reading section covers different states of matter and will provide background knowledge for an upcoming lab. HW - students who didn't finish in class were allowed to check out a book to finish at home.
7th Grade Science - Classifications, Microscopes and Cells. Students took notes in class on Cell Theory and the invention of the microscope. NO HW
