Computer Tech Explore - Digital Photography Editing- Students were introduced to three free online photo editors.  Fotor, Pixlr, and PiZap.  The students were asked to use one, upload a picture and make some minor changes to saturation, color, etc.

Pre-Algebra - Rational & Irrational Numbers.  Problems 13-22 from the handout given in class yesterday were reviewed and discussed together as a group to help students gain a deeper understanding of Rational and Irrational Numbers.  Two WS were given in class, Rational Number Matching and Rational Number Identify.  Both WS were finished and corrected during class.  NO HW

8th Grade Science - Matter.  Today began a lab on identifying a substance as "Pure" or a "Mixture".  Before starting the lab students were divided into groups and each group had to come up with a procedural flow chart they would follow for identifying each unknown sample.  When each group finished their procedural flow chart they then had to create a data table to record their observations and findings.  As each group finished their procedure and data table they were allowed to begin the lab.  The lab was not finished in class and will conclude tomorrow.  NO HW

7th Grade Science -  Life Science. Students concluded their 3rd day of observations on the Living vs. Not Living Lab from yesterday, taking and recording their observations as they considered the characteristics of living organisms.   NO HW
