Computer Tech Explore - Today were given time in class as a study hall, while other students prepared for the upcoming student led conferences.Pre-Algebra - Operations with Exponents. Today students took a pre-test over the new unit of Operations with Exponents and Scientific Notation. Following the pre-test students were given a handout with 8 properties of exponents which they should use throughout the unit to help with homework. NO HW
8th Grade Science - Matter. Students took notes on the Phase Changes of Matter and then used those notes to answer questions from a follow-up worksheet. NO HW
7th Grade Science - Classifications, Microscopes and Cells. Students were given a review worksheet that goes along with pages 34-40 in their textbook and is review of material covered in class the last week. The next week will involve a lot of review as students get prepared to take a test on Classifications of Organisms, Microscopes and Cells. HW - students who did not complete the review worksheet in class were instructed to check out a book and complete the WS as homework.
