Computer Tech Explore - Today students took a pre-quiz over HTML, watched a video on HTML and were given an introduction to the HTML unit and shown example websites to model what they will be learning over the next 3 weeks.Pre-Algebra - Operations with Exponents. There was an assembly today during this class period. NO HW
8th Grade Science - Matter Phase Change Lab. Students were allowed to chose the groups they will be working in and given an activity sheet for the lab they will be conducting tomorrow (Freezing, Melting, Condensation, Evaporation). Each group was given time in class to look over their activity sheet, make a list of materials they will need or need the teacher to collect and then review the lab along with any resource materials on the class website. NO HW
7th Grade Science - Classifications, Microscopes and Cells. Students were given a review worksheet that goes along with pages 43-48 in their textbook and is review of material covered in class the last week. The next week will involve a lot of review as students get prepared to take a test on Classifications of Organisms, Microscopes and Cells. HW
