Computer Tech Explore - Coding - For the next couple weeks students will be learning to code and create pictures and animations through Khanacademy Intro to JS.
Pre-Algebra - Pythagorean Theorem. A handout and packet with examples and definitions related to the Pythagorean Theorem were provided to students. From the packet students were given problems 1-6 to complete for the daily assignment. Students were given measurements of a triangle and had to determine if the triangle was a right triangle. #1 was solved on the board as an example and students had to complete 2-5 on their own. With most students completing the assignment in class the problems were corrected and solved before students left. NO HW
8th Grade Science - Atoms and Periodic Table. Students were given time in class to complete the activity from yesterday. NO HW
7th Grade Science - Cell Processes, Chemical Compounds and Cell Environment. Students were given a new reading guide as we have moved to the next section of chapter 3, Cell Division. Students were given time in class to complete the reading and answer the questions that go along with this section. Students who did not finish in class were instructed to check out a book and finish at home. NO HW
