Computer Tech Explore - Coding - For the next couple weeks students will be learning to code and create pictures and animations through Khanacademy Intro to JS.
Pre-Algebra - Pythagorean Theorem. Students were given a worksheet 1-12 to complete in class in which they had to use the Pythagorean Theorem to prove a triangle was a right triangle or find the length of the hypotenuse given two side measurements. NO HW - if finished in class
8th Grade Science - Atoms and Periodic Table. Students watched a video and took notes on the Periodic Table and properties of families within the periodic table. NO HW
7th Grade Science - Cell Processes, Chemical Compounds and Cell Environment. Students started a project in which they have the option of creating a; song, skit, story book, flip book, or game board to compare, contrast and explain the process of respiration and photosynthesis. Students will continue working on the project through next Wednesday and present to classmates on Thursday. NO HW
