Computer Tech Explore - Coding - For the next couple weeks students will be learning to code and create pictures and animations through Khanacademy Intro to JS.
Pre-Algebra - Operations with Exponents and Scientific Notation. The tests were handed back and each problem was solved on the board. As the average grade for both classes was an F (46%), we will spend the next couple days reviewing and doing additional practice problems to prepare for a test retake (everyone) which will be Thursday or Friday. Today students were given a Test Review WS to continue working on problems similar to those that will be on the test retake. HW - work on the review sheet and study for the test
8th Grade Science - Physical and Chemical Changes. Students took a practice test similar to the upcoming test (Friday) on Physical/Chemical Properties and Density. HW - begin looking over notes, handouts and other materials and begin studying for the upcoming test.
7th Grade Science - Cell Processes, Chemical Compounds and Cell Environment. The assignment from yesterday was corrected together in class. Students were given a WS activity to complete in class to continue learning about Proteins, Carbohydrates and Lipids and the roll each plays in the cell process NO HW
