Computer Tech Explore - Intro to Java Script: Drawing & Animation - Students continued self paced work and projects through Khanacademy.
Pre-Algebra - Exploring Linear Functions - There was some confusion with yesterdays assignment and how to isolate the variables to solve for x or y (to find the x-intercept or y-intercept) given the provided equations. Several examples were modeled on the board and students were encouraged to ask questions and participate in the solution of the modeled solutions. Students were then given time in class to check their own answers and check their answer with a classmate. HW - finish daily assignment if not completed in class.
8th Grade Science - Solutions - Students took notes on acids and bases (link on the right side bar) and then participated in an online interactive with a partner. NO HW
7th Grade Science - Human Body Systems - Students took notes on the Muscular System and then conducted a Blink Lab to determine if blinking is a voluntary or involuntary movement. NO HW
