Computer Tech Explore - Intro to Java Script: Drawing & Animation - Students continued self paced work and projects through Khanacademy.
Pre-Algebra - Exploring Linear Functions - Yesterday's homework was collected, graded and handed back to students. A discussion was let to help students identify the the "m" in the slope intercept equation (y=mx+b) determines the steepness of the line, that b identifies the y-intercept and that students should solve for x (x=y+b) to find the x-intercept. The daily assignment was given as yesterday's homework was collected and students had the entire period to work and ask questions graphing examples given in y=mx+b format after modeling problems as an example. HW - finish daily assignment if not completed in class.
8th Grade Science - Solutions - Students read pages 125-131B and completed reading guide 4.3B turning it in before class ended. NO HW
7th Grade Science - Human Body Systems - Students completed the Uniquely You Fingerprint Activity from Friday, graphing the results of they types of fingerprints of the class and answering the remaining questions. NO HW
