Computer Tech Explore - HTML and Web Design - Using Davesite.com and a text editor (Notepad) students starting learning at their own pace to create their own website.
Pre-Algebra - Graphing Functions - Sample problems were modeled for the class on solving functions. Discussion was held on why and how it is important to look at the function to determine appropriate input values and select input/independent variables that will result in whole number dependent/output variable that will be easy to graph. Students had time in class to complete the assignment. HW - finish problems 4-10 if not completed in class.
8th Grade Science - Matter & Solutions - A demonstration of diluting a solution in a solvent was provided. Students then had time in class to complete 5 questions from yesterday's lab before beginning the Reading Guide for Chapter 4 Section 2 B on Solutes, Solutions and Concentrations. HW - if the reading guide was not completed in class students were instructed to check out a text book and complete the reading guide for HW.
7th Grade Science - Evolution - Students were given time in class to complete working on the study guide for the upcoming Evolution Test, prior to review of the study guide in class in which students were told to correct or fill in any missing answers. HW - study for the Evolution Test which will be on Thursday.
