Computer Tech Explore - Digital Photography Editing- Students were introduced to three free online photo editors. Fotor, Pixlr, and PiZap. The students were asked to use one, upload a picture and make some minor changes to saturation, color, etc.Pre-Algebra - Rational & Irrational Numbers. Students were introduced to Rational and Irrational Numbers. Students took notes on each defining each term, listing characteristics or properties of each and then had to identify some numbers as Rational or Irrational. Finally class ended watching a video to support what was introduced in class. NO HW
8th Grade Science - Matter. Today students were asked to explain why or why not a gas is matter. A demonstration was provided to measure the mass of a deflated basketball and then measured again when it was inflated. A can of compressed air was measured and then again after releasing some of the contents. Finally students experimenting with how heating or cooling air molecules changes their behavior. NO HW
7th Grade Science - Life Science. A discussion of the characteristics of living things was conducted as a whole class. Following students were split into small groups and had to record observations at 9 stations to make an initial hypothesis of whether or not each item was living or not living. Students were asked to record their observations which will be compared to observations tomorrow and Wednesday. NO HW
