Computer Tech Explore - Students continued working on their websites by learning the basics of HTML in a self paced manner using Davesite, watched a video on HTML and were given an introduction to the HTML unit and shown example websites to model what they will be learning over the next 3 weeks.
Pre-Algebra - Negative Exponents. Problems from Friday were corrected in class and students were given the opportunity to ask questions on problems they may have missed. Solutions to these problems were modeled on the board. Today's assignment, students participated in a Exponent Scavenger Hunt activity with a partner during class. NO HW
8th Grade Science - Matter Phase Change Lab. Students watched a video, took notes on Density, and were given a worksheet to find density of various problems. NO HW
7th Grade Science - Classifications, Microscopes and Cells. The Characteristics of Living Things WS from Friday was corrected together. Students were given the correct answers and told to use the WS as a study guide for the upcoming test Today students were given their final assignment leading up to the test. The assignment is a Microscope and Classification WS that should also be used as a study guide. Tuesday will be the practice test with the actual test being on Friday. HW - study for the upcoming test on Cells, Organelle Functions, Classifying Living Things, and Microscopes
