Computer Tech Explore - Students continued working on their websites by learning the basics of HTML in a self paced manner using Davesite, watched a video on HTML and were given an introduction to the HTML unit and shown example websites to model what they will be learning over the next 3 weeks.
Pre-Algebra - Negative Exponents. The answers to the Exponents Scavenger Hunt from yesterday were reviewed, solved and discussed in class. Class was cut short due to students attending the Pulaski Play. NO HW
8th Grade Science - Matter Phase Change Lab. The Density WS from yesterday was corrected in class. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about problems they got wrong or didn't understand. A demonstration was modeled regarding density of different candy bars. The the students were given a lab in which they had to calculate the density of 4 different candy bars (Mr. Goodbar, Hershey's bar, Hershey's Dark Chocolate and Krackle). NO HW
7th Grade Science - Classifications, Microscopes and Cells. Students took the practice test for Classifications, Microscopes and Cells. HW - study for the upcoming test on Cells, Organelle Functions, Classifying Living Things, and Microscopes
